No, it's just that I realized my Skype was logged since I share my laptop with my bro, he uses it to go on GW2 or LoL and Skypes with his pals, though I have relogged on now!

Me and Sliv here are making our doubles team atm and I'm pretty sure TxN also does doubles.

My version of Double Battling is just throwing random Mons together and hoping they work.

Single battles are great for focus sash setups and baton passes, strategies you can't very well employ in doubles because you'll get focussed down. On the other hand, doubles are great for synergy between two pokemon and different kinds of setups (rage powder, ally switch, etc).
Because of all the switching and anticipating in singles and the ganging up on a single poke in doubles, single battles usually take a lot longer.

At the moment, it's kind of the other way around for me now though. Singles are over very quickly (for better or for worse), while doubles take at least twice as many turns.

Txn is in fact a bona fide Rotation Battler if I recall correctly! However, because of the lack of rotation battle enthousiasts, he has participated in double battles very often.

I prefer full team synergy myself, but it is indeed a lot harder to come up with (and execute properly) than just mashing random pokes together. Unfortunately, there isn't much incentive to go for a full team of pokemon that work well together over random mons like Talonflame, WashTom and MegaKhan.

Heliolisk Lanturn is still at least a little threatening though (damn you choice scarf Garchomp!) and my current doubles strat is very hard to keep up at all times for me, but has induced a lot of ragequits from my foes so far. Also insults.

Don't tell them what it is yet Txn ; )

I play double battle not only because of I like it, also because its the official format for world champship tournament and also there is sometimes a tournament each month on pokemon global link for double battle :3

Actually, Dei has a safari perfect for grinding with Chansey and Audino.

Still, never been on at the same time as me, so I've never seen a Chansey or any other third Pokemon there.
