I saw you were asking why the sun came back at the end of that video, and I'm not sure if you figured it out or not, but...
It's because Mega Alakazam's ability is Trace. It Traced Megazard Y's Drought and brought the sun back.

Thanks a lot Augla! I felt that question's answer would have been lost deep in the abyss.

Haha, yeah, Trace is one of those abilities I tend to forget exists until I encounter something with it. Even then, it only sticks around for a second before becoming something else.

I also ran some calcs, and his Alakazam would've lived if it didn't trace Drought or had Tbolt xD It's a pretty gimmicky ability tho. I see it has more use it doubles.
As for Pokemon news, these megas seem more legit....!
Some translation of those screens: "Battle Frontier Facility No. 1: Battle Tower construction model." "It's planning to be upgraded into a special facility called Battle Frontier!"
Ah yes, having a casino in a pokemon game was too much after all.

So question for you who got the game already; can pokemon from X/Y be transferred right away?

Aw yiss. Worked so hard to get my shiny Poochyena to use in this game, and it would suck if I can't bring him over right away.

The hidden Pokemon with special moves are pretty neat. I really wish they didn't copy/paste the Battle Maison though. I really wish they didn't copy/paste the Battle Maison. The Frontier in Emerald kept me busier than any other postgame in the series. With all the hints/references though, I'm willing to bet there's at least a 70% chance we'll see it in Delta Emerald or whatever the next game is. (Disclaimer: I am not a licensed statist) I know there's a lot of legendaries to catch but...I've never really enjoyed that.
Also Shroomish is so qt
