Any of you going to get Mario Kart 8 at launch?

The thing is more that it contrasts with the character, and it's easy to generate humorous content based off of Luigi being secretly evil.

I don't think the other characters look particularly nefarious during their "drive-by" animations.

I try to get everything done with three stars
and I just need to two two cups in 150cc
and every cup except the last retro one in mirror mode.

I'm not going for 3 stars per se, I just want the gold kart, so one star is enough.

There's only two cups left I need to ace: The Mirror Special and Mirror Lightning Cups.
It doesn't matter if you take first place three times, if you come in fifth or sixth on rainbow route, you just won't make it =(

I also have more than 2600 coins. By the time I finish a mirror rainbow route in first or second place, I'll probably have all 2800 needed to unlock all parts. Next up will be time trials.... Groan.

I've always wondered why Time Trials are so addicting for others. The last time I ever really went out of my way for them was for the three staff ghosts in 64. Otherwise, I've lost interest.

Personally unless there's a ranking of your friends, I couldn't care less about time trials and scoring shit.

You get the gold kart by getting one star on anything?

I dislike time trials with a passion.
The other option is gathering 15k coins, but hell no.

Ohh so 10k gold is only one way to get the gold kart.

Doing everything with atleast one gold star sounds much faster to be honest XD

If you beat all the staff ghosts in all the time trials you get the Gold Tires.

Another way to get the Gold Tires is gathering 15.000 coins.

Oh there are three gold parts.


So the gold tires either take really long or just some skill
cause if you are bad there is only the 15.000coins option

The time trials in this game are a lot easier then previous MKs.

I hate this game.

This is the 7th time I get in first place on all courses of the Special Cup but get butchered from 1st to 6th (or 5th) place in the last corner of Rainbow Route by a blue shell and various other items.

I figured out a location that forces the "big air" jump I keep talking about. During the anti-grav section of Wario Stadium, if you trick off of the higher end of the ramp at the end of it, you're guarateed the super fancy tricks.

Peach's one has her jump above the bike and face the player while thrusting her arm in the air, Rosalina's is the awesome flip I keep talking about that hooked me on her. Check 'em out!

It's kinda lame that the Blue Falcon is available but Captain Falcon is not.

It's literally just a texture change. Mario Tennis for the 3DS had the same thing for Yoshis.
