| It was the same thing for PP too, the CE was available for less than a day, like geez. Though I'm fine with the standard edition..... just chilling with no CE..... *wind blows*
These scalpers man, like ideally I wanna spend less than $160 for goodies but eh... ~_~

| Wait there was an LE for Re;Birth 1? f*** me, I specifically looked to confirm that. This Idea Factory shit is lame. Where was it sold? What was in it? I bet it wasn't sold through a Canadian retailer anyway. | |

| "Iffy's Online Store"? What inconceivably horrible marketing IdeaFactory. That's not cute, your name only has one F!
Oh well, it's the same kind of shitty CE that Vita games have been getting recently, ooh a pouch/protector, keychain and an art cel, so fancy.
Artbooks and CDs are better, though that art cel is pretty cool. (Tits!)

| Would it have been worth it to get that?
Oh and the sequel's remake will be available early next year.

It's a reference to the IF character in Neptunia, who is often called "Iffy" by a lot of characters (including Neptune) in the games.

They did, on their website. Except who the f*** visits IF's website? I found out via kotaku's daily Deals thread that it was happening THAT NIGHT so I stayed up til 2:30AM and nabbed one. (just shipped yesterday btw) - Emil12345 wrote:

You could just as easily edit the first post in the thread to change the thread title.

| Yeah, it's the same for Atlus, all of Atlus' stuff comes through newsletters, so there's no reason to visit their site. Ditto for NISA except NISA has their own storefront with exclusive LEs. | |

| Thanks. Well, Tomorrow, if nothing happens, I'm gonna get Re;Birth 1.
Edit: All the games released in America so far are on the first post. Give it a read and tell me what you think.

| Seems cool. I think you got all the games too! It'd be helpful if you posted a pic of each game imo or make the font a bit bigger perhaps? All hail Nep. | |

| Okay, tweaked post 1 some more, now with pics and bigger titles.
Still, isn't it weird to talk about this stuff on a Tales community forum site?
On another note, for DLC in Re;Birth1 how about having the Processor Units from Victory?
Even better, a Neptunia game published by Compile Heart, Idea Factory NIS America that has the ENTIRE cast from games past. Many questions can now be solved like what IS the relation between 5pb and MAGES. or can Nisa and Marvy get along? or will RED have the ultimate Wifey harem? As well as the last game having Gust as a playable character. Man, so many possibilities.

Not really lol I'm pretty sure we talk about all sorts of other series Re;Birth1 have decent DLC, though the game does have all the Victory DLC characters in-game. Personally I have not bought any Nep DLC aside the free set, but yeah all I need is Falcom and I'm happy, almost bought Histy though lol It sucks that we don't have Nisa and Gust no more tho Soooo Emil.... gonna get Fairy Fencer f?

| Not really, but maybe I'll get a PS4 for 2 games: Kingdom Hearts III and Neptunia Victory II. Shame the PS4 isn't backward compatable.
Edit: Okay, Dialogue is more or less altered, battle style is back to 3 in battle. Kinda wish it would be 4 like in mk2 and Victory, so 100 hit combo might be far from my reach. Also First Dungeon is Virtua Forest, not "Tutorial Dungeon".

| bump: Oh, I just got an idea:
Next Neptunia game, there should be at least four overworlds or hub worlds, one for each nation. Tghis way, the player, you, can actually talk to the chirper characters and get stuff from them. Something to think about.

| PP is just an idol game and not a rhythm game, right? There's little to no gameplay during the songs, yeah? | |

| Yup, the Songs don't really do much. It's basically just a VN. | |

| I call them idol games, or I guess idol sim would be a more accurate title. There's no actual romance involved, right? (I imagine the Idolmaster games work the same.) You just get to know them, hang out and increase stats for better singing. If dating sims get to be labeled separately from visual novels (the key difference being stats) then I think idol games deserve differentiation too.
Of course there are games like Dream C Club that kind of blur the line, but even then they're hostesses so they're not meant to get romantically involved with you.
The only reason I asked is that the Idolmaster series did have a game that incorporated rhythm mechanics, clapping to the song (Live For You! I think,) but I don't know if that was just a meaningless gimmick for extra points or a mandatory feature to complete songs.

| Played it, beat it, only did the Normal end. For every playthrough it's gonna be the True Ending from here on out. | |

It's basically just a VN. You have to move the camera around to pump the audience up. Anyway, if anyone cares, today I found out there is going to be a another remake. This time it's Victory. "Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Century". It includes the remake system, which means... no easy money. The way to do that was: Buy the cheapest outfits, combine them with Invisible Cloths and sell them for more cash. Quite the investment, but not for a remake. Sad. I haven't even completed the original but I'll get this game and Re;Birth 2.
