| So the PSP ones are real time strategy? While from Resonance's description it'll be real time action? | |

| Goddammit. Why do all the post-Persona 3 designs have to be so cool? I hope the P4 characters get redesigned in Persona 5 Arena. | |

| http://www.siliconera.com/2014/05/22/hyrule-warriors-screenshots-shows-link-impa-shia-black-witch/Speaking of awesome redesigns, check Impa out. The game's also gonna have 2P multiplayer with one player on the gamepad screen (I really hope splitscreen is still an option, and then the gamepad player would likely have a map or something.) Also, I tried the Mario Golf: World Tour demo. It's actually surprisingly fun, I'm tempted to get it just because they released a demo for it (the 15 play limit seriously sucks though, even if I only needed to launch it twice because of low battery.) I guess that's my excuse for not getting Mario Tennis Open, even though it used Nintendo Network too. You should try it! | |

| I don't mean Hyrule Warrior specific I meant the overall hardware, because people keep saying the Wii U is worse than PS3 gr4ph1c5 yadda yadda and the screens looks pretty awesome. | |

But...It's stylized. It's pretty easy to make cartoony games, we just haven't had many AAA games with an art style like this because nobody except Nintendo makes good platformers anymore. If anything you should be comparing this to the One Piece Pirate Warriors games. It's also worth noting that Warriors games reuse a lot of the same character models, so they only really tax the system with the extreme amounts of enemies and particle effects on-screen. If they were trying to match a visual style of, like, Assassin's Creed or Uncharted, then yes, the game would require significantly more resources. This is more like Ratchet and Clank. As a side note, I think it's amusing that although we're moving to a new generation, we're right in the middle of a resurgence of 16-bit and 8-bit indie games. Sony and Microsoft were in a pissing contest for who can lure the most indies, and it's all stuff like Mercenary Kings, Broforce and Sportsfriends. | |

| Going off the forward rails for a moment, it seems Goldeneye Wii has at least temporarily survived the Nintendo Wi-Fi shutdown, since it connects both to Nintendo's defunct Gamespy servers and to Activision's Demonware servers in Ireland, as do Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 on the Wii. How long Activision will keep this arrangement up and if Nintendo still has any power to shut it down later (passively and silently, of course) remains to be seen. | |

| I honestly wouldn't have minded if they waited an extra year. Now I literally need to decide if I want to play Chrono Phantasma (get a PS3) or Xrd (get a PS4) before they lose players. | |

| Post in the right thread next time. I had to f*** around with admin options because merging isn't very intuitive. Your post is in the P4A thread. | |
