Well that was odd. Also PS4...... Time to throw my wallet on a PS4 and inevitable DLC..... YAY.

Yup, saw that earlier. More Nep-Nep! All the more reason for me to get a PS4 next year. Awesome.

Noticed the enhanced resolution as well, the love is real. Unfortunately PS4 is still costly in Canada, so gonna wait on a price drop or something.

In supplement to Watch Dog's PC having buried treasures of graphical pizaz I see all the cries that Ubisoft will patch it out, use it to rail on pirates for no reason assuming most of their audience doesn't know any better... and they back it up with Ubi's patching Direct X 10 out of Assassin's Creed 1- in what world is that okay?
Also CAPCOM OPEN SHARE (Aka "The stock holders have decided that if someone offered a gigantic wad of cash for Capcom they wouldn't shoot them down at the door.") SPECULATION. That would be a case of house-cleaning something awful and booting 30-year plus family business, but... no, most of Capcom's IPs would probably still be neglected no matter what.

Why not?
Even in Persona 5, F O E!

I saw this coming, honestly. I mean, Capcom's literally been farming out their franchises recently with games like DmC and Lost Planet 3 (one could also claim Dead Rising, although that was done a while ago) and it's pretty clear that they don't give a f*** about Mega Man anymore.
I say that Platinum should try and acquire Devil May Cry somehow so we can have the Bayonetta and Dante crossover we need, and Nintendo should buy Mega Man. I wonder if Sony might try and buy Monster Hunter...

Meanwhile Dragon's Dogma collects dust in Capcom's attic.
I have no idea which company should buy that IP.

It's hard to say because it's basically a combination of DMC and Monster Hunter in an open world context.

I know it's a dream that'll never happen but I hope whoever picks up the IP for BoF actually does some shit with it other than make a damn IOS game.

I realize that Capcom post came off as a lot less funny and a lot angrier than I wanted it to. My mistake.
I think the big three are Mega Man, Monster Hunter, and Resident Evil; one is a former cash cow that probably still has a place in the world, the second is a modern cash cow, and the third is a higher budget hit whose name (and sales potential) have survived awful, awful things. You wonder, though, if it came down to an I.P. sellout what would go for what- I can't think of another developer that would want Street Fighter offhand, if only because the most likely buyers already have fighting franchises.

Not announced for North America, but considering it's being released region free in English AND in physical form whether it gets a North American release or not, I feel strangely indifferent about it.

Man, that Ar Nosurge game could've been revolutionary.
In one way or another.

^Not going to spoil why, but Nier already has an ending that does that. And I think the only way around it is to back up your saves to an external device and keep it disconnected from the system when it happens.

The Legend of Korra game in development by Platinum Games for consoles and PC. Aside from the announcement itself, there hasn't been much revealed.
I don't care about The Legend of Korra but this is worth paying attention to.

Tenshiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
http://www.siliconera.com/2014/06/30/rise-mana-producer-wants-release-next-major-mana-game-two-years/ “Now that’s a difficult question,” responds Oyamada. “We’re talking two years, here. However, I have a feeling that fans want it to be for home consoles. There are actually a good number of fans who’d like to sit back and enjoy it (on home console). And there’s a big part of me that wishes to properly make something, for those fans.”
I-I'm not dreaming am I? Did I read that right?

^I saw it - I had already commented on the article itself.
Thank GOD there's at least SOMEONE at Square Enix that knows what people really want.
