| Or buy the PC release because if Sega America releases it, it'll be a test bed for future ports or localizations. Skies of Arcadia was apparently gonna receive an HD port but it was canceled because NiGHTS and Jet Set Radio sold so poorly. | |

| Sega confirmed the port has all the dlc, high-resolution support, 60 fps, and dual-audio. It comes out November 11th. The system requirements are very reasonable as well. | |

| Well I mean Destiny ultimately boils down to Call of Duty with fantasy guns that you acquire through random drops instead of progression, your super is just your killstreak. | |

| I haven't used Share Factory yet, but the latest firmware's feature to trim videos in the Capture Library is great. I can finally get around to uploading a bunch of little clips I captured | |

| It would've been on PC regardless IMO. The thing is, for a fighting game, for tournaments you're gonna need fixed hardware like the PS4, so it's still a huge deal because that will be the standard. - Abicion wrote:

'Cuz we post about things other than Nintendo and JRPGs, pew pew shots fired. Because Steam proved that PC games can sell again. It's helped curb PC game piracy. 7 years ago though, especially for a game made in Japan that wasn't a obviously wasn't a first-person shooter, strategy, or Western RPG, being on PC day 1 would be a surprise. Remember, Street Fighter IV didn't come to PC right away either. Now Japan often does that because some Western gamers prefer PC and more importantly, put their money where there mouth is.

| Yeah. I mean, AAA Japanese games really didn't start coming to PC AT ALL until Games for Windows Live bridged the gap between consoles and PCs, and even then it was just Capcom. The Japanese are actually really aware of piracy.
Why the sudden movement in the past year to port a TON of stuff to the PC (even for tightwads like Sega?) I couldn't tell you that. Nothing has really changed in the PC space since Games for Windows Live launched.
Maybe the first couple chances the Japanese took when it came to PC releases ended up bringing the rest with them. Maybe Valve reached out to them. Who knows?
It'd be interesting to see a chonology of Capcom, Sega, Namco Bandai and Konami's releases on Steam. I think that's the exact order, too. Capcom had been around since Lost Planet, Sega's first was Binary Domain I think, that or Typing of the Dead Overkill, Namco Bandai's was probably Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 if you don't count Dark Souls for being very experimental, and Konami's was Revengeance, unless some Silent Hills made it that I don't know about.
There are of course some other big examples like the Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut, and when Square-Enix started bringing Final Fantasy's latest versions to PC (FF7 up-rezzed, 8, III remake, IV remake without the two side story games, the XIII series.) The Eidos franchises don't really count, they were expected.

| Its thanks to Western developers that Sega's PC sales have really taken off. First there was the Football Manager series, then they acquired Relic when THQ folded. Relic is mainly know for their Total War series. Most of Sega's PC ports are pretty good. Sonic Generations is great, and I'm sure you've read about Valkyria Chronicles. | |

| Holy balls maybe now ebay prices will hopefully come down too. (yeah right)
And considering Vita/PSTV can play digital PSP games, uh guys, about Woven Web...
Or, y'know, maybe releasing a brand new Suikoden on a console isn't on life support at the time...
