| I'm kind of surprised no has posted a topic on this game yet. For those who have seen footage of The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, what do you think of it so far?
After seeing the trailer for it, I was very excited. The graphics amazed me and I was really impressed with the game's overall ambition. I like a lot of the new elements they added, it has an interesting story and the game overall looks like it's going to be a blast.

| It certainly got me excited for the series again. It renews my interest in getting Wind Waker HD (I never finished the original) and Twilight Princess HD (I never played it at all). Though, it doesn't really encourage me to get the portable titles, I still have no inclination to pick up Link to Between Worlds or Triforce Heroes.
The gameplay looks amazing for this new one, I want it for the same reasons I may pick up Horizons Zero Dawn. They look like they do the free-roam thing in a way I can get behind (I don't usually like it). They have just the right amount of story and cool functions. I loved all the new tools in Zelda! The little bits they put and the new lore look fun too. The graphics I wasn't so hot on, but definitely better than anything Zelda has produced thus far, the aesthetic is amazing, and its beautiful.

| Not as impressed as I probably should be, probably because I play too many sandbox games and this seems like an odd choice for a Zelda game. The physics, while obviously quite more detailed, also remind me a helluva lot of Minecraft-style survival games. Lots of physics and little things like knocking over trees to cross gaps. | |

| As much as I've enjoyed many of the games in the franchise that have been released since Ocarina of Time, this is the most excited I've been in years for a Zelda release. The visuals are mind-blowing, the gameplay looks amazing and I really enjoy the various new elements that hadn't seen before in the series. I'm also really impressed with how much exploring can be done and how vast they say the overworld is going to be, along with how many ways there are to beat the game and the different ways you can challenge yourself. It'll be interesting to see how a player will be able to beat the game from the beginning, along with seeing how long someone can endure playing as Link dressed like a character from Free! | |

| I'm excited as well as it's a "Breath of the Wild", fresh air for a 3D Zelda gameplay-wise. Now, one can hope it doesn't follow a very stale trope like the rest of the games do. | |
