| I always thought it went back to the last character if you lost and did another smash. I remember it went back to Lucina and R.O.B after I lost to them. | |

| The cruelest part of Cruel Melee is that the third challenge panel tricks you into thinking all you have to do is get 2 KOs, which is already super difficult (I've done it once, maybe twice, but I'm not sure.) You later get a second challenge that requires you to get 4 KOs. Fuuuuck that.
I honestly find it easiest to just hang onto the ledge and go for ledge attacks/up specials, or try and hang out below the level to trick the AI into following you off (it sucks at recovery, but they rarely follow you.) Just let the AI kill itself.
Playing as Kirby and eating people near the edge then walking off and flying back up when they pop out is probably the winning strategy, but I wanna do this with ZS Samus.
Edit: I looked at some discussion online (there are different methods of course, spamming counters or certain attacks like Bowser's down+b (whatever that means with default controls) or Mii Gunner's side smash, but the Kirby method seems to work best) and apparently there's a milestone for getting 10 kills (but unless you look at a list online you have no idea if you're missing a milestone anyway, there's nothing to indicate how many there are/you're missing so that's not as bad as a panel that will have a missing slot and reward.) The person who brought up the milestone used the Kirby method.

| Dual Wield Levin Swords! (Use up your Levin Sword, catch it, then wait for your normal Levin Sword to recharge) | |

| That's cool, but what can you even do with an exhausted Levin sword? I imagine you just throw it. | |

| Found a guaranteed method for netting kills in Cruel Smash as Zero Suit Samus. Stand at a ledge while facing the center of the map, throw an enemy backwards, Flip Jump (you will be facing them now) and land on their head to meteor them (I don't know what else to call that effect,) I've yet to see them recover. Play around the ledge using a combination of Plasma Whip and Boost Kick (very low down so BK ends as right at the ledge,) never hanging on long enough to be attacked. Depending on positioning you should eventually use Boost Kick close to the ledge (so that it attacks ABOVE the ledge this time) or simply do a ledge attack; ideally you'll knock everyone away so they come at you in a way that makes it easy to grab the closest Mii, or at least single out one of the Miis at the ledge, then repeat.
I used this to get my 4 K.O.s (hallelujah) and could probably reach 10 if I cared about milestones.

| Doesn't seem worth it to me unless you're really hoping to surprise somebody in a no-items match, but I'm biased because Peach specializes in items. | |

It has pretty good knockback though, or so I heard. Do you want to have a battle? :)

| Has anyone else ever glitched through the floor of the slope in the 3d land stage? Because sliv just got stuck in there after I kicked him down. | |

| Thanks! You were pretty good with that greninja, it's just too bad the stages hated you and the two times you were going to win, screwed you over. | |

| Whenever I'm off the stage and I use Shadow Sneak (side B) I mean to do Up-B...
The directional input for that with Greninja is really finicky, so I always mess that up xD

| I have that problem as well; I don't know why it's so finicky. | |

| Huh?
I guess I completely forgot to mention how Txn and I had this epic Villager mirror match the other day in which we kept pocketing and throwing stuff at each other, including Lloid rockets and freaking trees.
Where do they store the trees?
I have the replay saved, but I can't think of a way to share it =(

| I wonder if Mewtwo's comeback will mean that there will be more DLC characters. | |

| I dunno, it's probably gonna be some really backwards thing like a Club Nintendo promotion so that people can't just hook any 3DS to any person's Wii U for Mewtwo, I wouldn't expect actual DLC at this point. | |
