Tokyo – April 1st, 2014– After a long wait, fans of the super-speed RPG Half Minute Hero will finally be able to experience the sequel in English. Published by Marvelous AQL; Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming will be available for Windows PC exclusively via Steam on April 4th. The game will launch at a price of $999.99, making it the most expensive Steam game in the history of mankind. Fear not, as owners of the first game on Steam will automatically receive a 25% discount on the sequel.
Along with a robust single-player campaign, the game features four-player multiplayer with lobbies, an infinite battle mode and a time attack mode. The PC version has been upgraded above and beyond the original Japanese PSP release, and now features full Steam Workshop support with the included (mouse supported!) map editor, so that users can create, share, edit, vote and play new multiplayer maps for the game. An upgraded “Goddess Room” also holds an art gallery, a music player, and a couple more surprises for fans of the series. Last, but not least, the game supports the Oculus Rift headset for virtual reality gaming.
Is all of the above information true? Nope! In fact, some of it might be outright lies! Can you guess which?
I knew they were going to post info in this day, but this is still evil.

But... I posted about it in the defunct forum (mainly the 2020 games, and part of my progress in the "what are you playing today" thread), and I even had sets about the series.

I completely forgot Burial at Sea Episode 2 was released at the end of last month. There's almost no discussion going on about it on the GameFAQs boards and the few reviews I could find are talking about its horrible retcons.
I now see why Irrational Games decided to no longer in exist as soon as they released this game.

we researched what kind of design would appeal to boys between the ages of 10 and 14—who we assume will be the game’s main purchasers
Where they are researching? lol
Who knows. I'd say that for one, digital purchases are less likely to be done by younger audiences, and two, younger audiences aren't going to buy a game called Azure Striker Gunvolt. Honestly it's probably only going to sell to Mega Man fans like usual because Comcept is not really known outside of that community.
I'm a fan of either sex wearing more realistic armor without gigantic holes in them. Such holes are like wearing a giant target saying "shoot/stab me here!"
