Ayyyyy, Sam, I like the way you think <3 I would be so pleased with that. Hearts R had the men getting idol costumes, I say its a trend worth continuing. Especially since of these SideM designs are kind of great, looking them up.

Those are all PERFECT choices, I especially like either Kaoru or Seiji, both have brotherly/fatherly roles, and they show different sides of Eizen (Kaoru is cold at first but has a strong bond with a sister and is driven by a passionate goal while Seiji is warm and fatherly and has a serious past with fallen friends) I love it.
Now I'm really sad about this missed opportunity, the idea lives on in our dreams.

Because its getting localized I'm not getting a JP copy, but the last times I did get a JP game at release (Tales of Hearts R), I went with PlayAsia. PlayAsia is pretty reliable, I've bought all the PSP Tales titles (sans Twin Brave and VS), ToDR:DC, and the Vita titles from them. You can even help Abyssal Chronicles through them by going through their links. I've heard YesAsia is very reliable as well!

I mean it's the only way any of the Dearly Stars characters are gonna get real screentime (to my understanding they have only had cameos.)

Just played the demo. Was pretty fun, the biggest improvement over Zesty being being able to move the camera in battle.
Also no one main healer is interesting.

....I kinda feel that Berseria's battle system is worse than Zestiria lol. Maybe because I've played a lot of Zestiria lately ...with Eterniti and Mistiq.
Casting takes so damn long, SG limiting the chaining capacity even more, and 'basic' weakness system - as in, no Power Hit combo anymore. Use element/attribute weakness atttack, get damage boost, stagger, soul gauge increase etc. Use attribute the enemy is strong against, reduce damage, no stagger (i think) etc. So basic that if you want to get high SG you just need to spam one move over and over.
Boring shit.
Also, takig some time to get used to not locking on enemg anymore. Hell, I spent most of the time in battle pressing L1 just so I can lock on to my target because I keep getting them off screen, especially as Eleanor because her arte moves her around so much.

The Promise Made trophy is so....promising. I'm really glad for it, that character got very little information on him previously

Took me a bit of time but I was able to find out who is the latest Tales cameo battle for Tales of Berseria. I'm not going to say anything unless you want to know via PM.

How do you know that when it hasn't been released yet?

By the way, the title is misleading. Berseria is only coming out for the PS4 and Windows in English. It sucks the PS4 isn't backwards compat though but I'm still saving money for it. It has Star Ocean 5 I really would like to play and some other games.

My apologies, I have the topic title for its original release, yes it will only be released in NA on PS4 and Steam, not sure about EU though.
