I was kinda ok with the plot summary until "When Maria loses her virginity, she will lose her magical powers." Wow I can already see this shit using rape (or attempted rape) as a plot device. No thank you. Not much catches my eye so far, which is honestly a good sign. I'm watching waaaay to many shows this fall already and god knows how many of those will still be airing during winter. I for sure will be watching Dog Days'', even though the last season pretty much had no reason to exist because the only real plot advancement that happened was Shinku making good on his promise at the end of the first season to return during his summer vacation. Aldtrollah Zero can go ahead and scramble to regain viewership after that first season ending but I likely won't be watching.

| Aldnoah.Zero S2 is a must. Durarara S2 of course. Falcom Gakuen guilty pleasure. American Adol best Adol.
I would watch Testament of Sister New Devil if not for the unnecessary fanservice and eww boob grope. Sticking with the manga I guess, and probably will pick up the light novel later. Speaking of LN, MUSHOKU TENSEI WHEN? Or is polygamy/fat nerd NEET looked down upon in Japan?
Huh, only three shows this season.

| Remember when I suggested we could use these as Today in Anime threads?
FUNimation's gonna start simul-dubbing shows, but they'll be FUNimation subscriber-exclusive. They're gonna start with Laughing Under the Clouds and Psycho-Pass 2.
New episodes of both air each Saturday, and assuming that these are aired during the week in Japan, that's probably a buffer period for them. I've heard horror stories about attempts at simul-dubbing, but Kurokami turned out excellent (although Wil Wheaton, yes, him, couldn't be there for two or so episodes.) With FUNimation's talent and machine-like ability to pump out show after show, I reckon it'll work, but they'll have to pick wisely. A sequel like Psycho-Pass 2 makes sense, but I doubt they'll be able to do any comedies or anything highly referential.

| Assassination Classroom looks nice, and moreover has been confirmed to be two cour (or 24-26 episodes). Koro-sensei looks like the kind of charismatic character than can carry a story by himself, though the rest of the cast looks good too. Yuri Kuma Arashi I'm excited for mainly because it's from the creator of Mawaru Penguindrum (and Utena, but I've never watched that), one of my favorite anime from 2011. The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls. The original series maxed out on charm, and it was really neat that there was a new song/music video each episode, unlike K-On and other idol shows that only rare feature concerts or performances. Kamisama Hajimemashita... uh... however you pronounce that symbol at the end. The preview makes it look as though this season will feature more of Tomoe's criminal days. Dog Days Double Dash is definitely the Winter 2015 anime I'm most excited for. I'm a huge Dog Days fan, one of my favorite series. Shinmai Maou no Testament's a maybe. Reminds me of a Ichiban Ushirou no Daimaou/High School DxD hybrid.
On the OVA front, Date A Live Encore (mmm that Kurumi picture), Persona 4 Accomplice OVA, Witchcraft Works, and Tari Tari (dammit I thought for a second that it'd be a full-length episode). None of the movies interest me, but then I only watch a handful of anime movies every year anyway.

Wait, what did you just say!? *views list* HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY S- I mean yeah, it's not a full 20min episode, but man I'm still surprised, thought Tari Tari news was done for good. This was my favorite PA Works series so this makes me happy. More waifu Wakana ~ <3 S2 pls PA

| I should really catch up on the Stardust Crusaders anime in time for Winter; I was watching it weekly with a group of friends, but various people went home for the summer, so that kind of fell apart.
Junketsu no Maria sounds like trash, and as such I will probably end up watching at least some of it in order to discuss exactly how it's trash. Even with a summary like that, it can't be as bad as Cross Ange from the current season...
I will be watching Aldnoah s2, mostly just to see where it goes. The first season left me dissatisfied for a variety of reasons, but I'm gonna stick with it. And I'll be checking out Durarara s2, because I enjoyed me some DRRR first time around and there was a lot of stuff I wanted to see resolved. Assassination Classroom also looks pretty interesting, and Yoru no Yatterman; other than that, I guess we'll see what's good.

| Durarara!!x2: WTF? Did Anri's boobs get even bigger? Oh well, I just want Mikado's pen-stabbing and lighting that guy on fire with gasoline scenes to be animated. Idk why the first season changed/toned down the parts that were hinting how truly messed up he is. | |

| To be fair, the headshot scene is from side angle and we never really saw the bullet wound. For all we know he might have just grazed Inaho's temple a bit. And, Slaine's a lousy shot, as shown when he emptied about 11 rounds of bullet to Saazbaum and none hit his vital. | |

Or maybe it's because Slaine has a bad tendency to fail many things he attempts!
