Yeah that honesty seriously caught me off guard. He didn't desecrate Cruhteo's death with manipulative bastard speech, he just simply stated it as fact. Cruhteo is loyal to the princess/royalty, and that stands between him and his goal so he killed him off.

Like a certain badass king crab in next season's show would say, "I won't mince words. I won't beat around the bush. I would sell out everyone else in the world to save my daughter and grandchild.

It's going to be 24 episodes total, with the second season focusing more on the "Zero" part, apparently.

Hopefully the "Zero" doesn't stand for the people left alive.

I think it might be something along the lines of the Aldnoah Precursors, Progenitors, an Anti-Aldnoah perhaps.

I sincerely hope it won't be about someone with a mask leading a rebellion.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. It's great, though I'm mainly watching the show for Sakura (the girl in that gif).

On a related note, on a recent popularity poll for Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, it was unsurprisingly (but sadly for Chiyo) Mikoshiba who won.

gotta love the tsundere+closet otaku+shoujo protagonist+dorky bishounen mashup he is

Saazbaum somehow became my favorite character between episodes.

Seeing Inaho do facial expressions is extremely surreal.

I'm not entirely happy with some parts of this episode, but I definitely have confidence in the future of the series.

The amount of Aldnoah Fanart is staggering. It's starting to rival Code Geass'.

Shit. She lives.

Yeah, Saazbaum for world emperor. Man is so noble he paid his debt to Slaine's father and give his son a choice whether to defect or to fight for him. That takes serious confidence in his self/cause and integrity.

tbh, this episode is pretty boring, but that's only because the last two episodes were excellent in flip-flopping between feelings. We get Inaho being omnipotent as always at least, so that's cool enough.


I can't stress this enough, but I really hope Marito finally shines next episode, what's with him being (arguably) relieved of his PTSD.

I'm actually glad she lives but the whole thing kinda still ruined the show's credibility. It doesn't take very long after your heart has stopped for you to die (according to the internet it's a matter of a few minutes at best), and it's not the only show THAT AIRED DURING THE SAME WEEK to be totally guilty of having someone live after having their heart stopped for several minutes. The other show was

We don't actually know how resilient Aldnoah Drivers are. For all we know, the royal family and nobles might have a regeneration factor. Emperor Rayvers seems to be very old as well. Unnaturally old perhaps.

The reason Aldnoah Drives stop working when their operator "dies" might simply be because the Aldnoah turns inwards, focusing on regenerating its host body.

Apparently in episode 12, the end of the first cour, something "unexpected" will happen. Something the voice actors did not see coming.

I think it would be awesome if Saazbaum survives the entire series.
