Speaking of Bokura no Live, Kimi to no Life, for whatever reason that song doesn't appear to be included in the m's Best Album II despite every other song from the first season being included (excluding the Maki version of Start:Dash!! which is only heard for a few seconds, and Private Wars for obvious reasons.) It was the first song on the original Best Album so maybe that's why, but it still seems like a weird omission.

Can either of you confirm if the anime version is identical to the original single? I suppose the reason for all that is because it was the first song ever created for the cross-media project, and the first song consisting of all nine members. It could also just be based on the order of the singles released at the time, the first Best Album did come out before the anime started after all.

I'm definitely thinking I'm gonna have to grab the first Best Album with the blu-ray. I looked into the video albums, and I think those are just three different live concerts, which I suppose would be cool but my main concern is the animation.

It's somewhat close. The episode it was featured on (and the sequence of the dance and the Eli scenes within it) definitely reference parts of this first animated single.

It's because I started asking questions, and finally got into Love Live! after watching the trailer for the movie.

I got no idea about that anime/movie :/

No seriously, even with the drama, Love Live is just a really fun and happy/light hearted show that I assure will make someone smile one way or another.

Just rewatched the whole series and I want more.

Eventhough it's too late, I wished NISA screened the movie in Canada as well.

I actually open an episode every now and then whenever I'm in the mood, watching Bokura wa Ima no Naka de and Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki always gives me a smile. Plus always watching some Muse antics and Umi is good for my mind.

It's a solid anime, and while season 1 does start off slow, the overall ride and journey is well worth it. Like most idol animu, Love Live has a fantastic soundtrack. All the songs the girls perform carry their own theme and message, and none of them barring OP and ED are used more than once in the anime. Each song represents a new stage for the girls, another step forward as performers and as people which I really love. The music peaks with the performance of "Snow Halation" in the ninth episode for season 2, a rising, sad yet uplifting piece that showcases the appeal of Muse. It is one of the best vocal tracks I have heard in an anime to date. There is also a really cool scene at the end of the 12th episode that I shall not spoil! Everything with the music sorts of 'clicks' in that moment. If you ever feel tempted to watch the series, dooooooo it!

And yeah Dawg... I wanted dub Muse.... Kuso NISA ~_~

Edit: Duuude, http://myfigurecollection.net/picture/1274388&ref=item%3A284402 this is so tempting to set up, but I have no idea how you even get the stand. The chara-ani site has exclusive acryllic straps but they only have a Japanese site unlike Good Smile. I ended up ordering Nozomi from AmiAmi like usual.

When i saw the Eli Figma, my wallet reacted. But i was able to stop it since I've decided to get the SH Figurarts Maki instead.

I prefer nendoroids myself.

Mid-season-ish update:

-BBB is still the best show this season and I won't accept any arguments to the contrary.
-F/SN UBW's had a pretty distinct drop in quality from the first season. The pacing has slowed to glacial pace, animation is a bit worse, and they included a lot more of the icky stuff from the VN. That being said, I do like the Zero tie-ins they added so far.
-Sound Euphonium is just getting better and better with each episode and shows no signs of stopping.
-Dropped Show By Rock after 2 episodes lol
-Been meaning to catch up on Seraph of the End but I haven't yet
